You'll drive high-impact projects from concept through to construction and help grow our Water engineering capability in the region.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you'll lead and deliver Wastewater and Water design packages across diverse sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and public infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Management of relationships with key clients and contacts across the business including client liaison and development
Management of projects within time, cost and quality constraints and standards
Management of the day-to-day work of the team.
Champions and promotes professional advice, guidance and support across the business
Monitors and manages compliance and KPI's
Estimating, pricing and delivering against work targets.
Management of engineering outsource partners
Requirements:

? What You Bring
Member of a relevant professional body e.g. IMechE, CIWEM
Demonstrate level of competence in mechanical and instrumentation design in the water / wastewater industry environment
Demonstrate a level of competence in practical mechanical installation experience in the water / wastewater industry environment.
Minimum of 10 years' experience working in a similar role in the water and wastewater industry.
A good understanding of modular build construction processes and procedures.
Experienced in the installation, commissioning and proving of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation (MEICA) systems.
Experience of Water, Wastewater and Sludge Treatment Centres.
Demonstrate knowledge of all relevant standards, regulations and codes of practice
Extensive site experience of water and recycling operations
Ability to use own initiative, problem solve and adjust as issues arise during the project life cycle
An experienced manager of people and teams, developing others, and managing staff welfare
Experience, or a strong understanding of construction, procurement, and commissioning.
