This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the development, testing and delivery of applications that support our next generation Broadband CPE, including Broadband Smart Hubs, Complete Wi-Fi and Hybrid Connect (4G) modems.

You will need to work effectively as part of UK based agile squads, responsible for the testing of cutting edge client applications, working alongside highly skilled software and networking developers and testers, within the Broadband Devices tribe.

What you\'ll be doing

Responsible for technical leadership of the BB mobile app development and people leadership of the local team

  • Lead the mobile development for our next generation converged products and services
  • Deliver resolutions to problems that tend to be complex, cross-domain or of high impact to customers.
  • Provide technical quality assurance over work of other engineers through matrix team structure
  • Working effectively as part of UK based Agile delivery squads
  • Using scrum/JIRA/Wiki for tracking agile workflow deliveries
  • Supporting proactive improvement initiatives
What you\'ll bring
  • Strong software development experience with Flutter, Android, Objective C, Swift, Kotlin
  • Experience in a complex technical lead role
  • Experience in stakeholders management at senior level
  • Knowledge of VMs and Containerisation
  • Good knowledge of Agile delivery methods and tools, e.g. scrum/JIRA/wiki
  • Knowledge of Automated testing tools and methods
Desirable but not Vital
  • Knowledge of Linux and Docker
  • Experience with git, JIRA, Gitlab
  • Good knowledge of Broadband/Home Gateway standards, e.g. xDSL, FTTP, IPv4/IPv6, PPP, Wi-Fi, UPnP, 4G/5G mobile networks
  • Experience in web technologies such as React, Angular, JS, HTML
  • Experience in UX/UI design
  • Experience in accessibility design
