About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated

Senior Night Nurse

(RGN/RMN) to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically skilled nurse with strong leadership abilities to oversee night-time operations and ensure the highest standards of nursing and personal care are delivered to our residents.

As the

Senior Nurse on duty

, you will be responsible for managing a small team of care staff, ensuring clinical excellence, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the night care team to deliver person-centred care. Oversee and administer medication safely and effectively. Monitor residents' health, respond to changes in condition, and escalate concerns as needed. Maintain accurate care plans and clinical documentation. Ensure compliance with CQC standards and home policies. Support, mentor, and motivate junior staff members. Provide a calm, reassuring presence to residents during night hours.

Requirements

Registered Nurse

with a valid

NMC pin

. Previous experience working in a

nursing home

setting. Proven ability to

lead and manage a small care team

. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills. A caring, compassionate nature and commitment to high-quality care.
