The Fraud Team at DWF is seeking a motivated paralegal with expertise in fraud claims to join our dynamic team in Leeds.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with complex fraud and motor litigation cases for a wide variety of clients.
The successful candidate will be based in our Leeds office with the option of a hybrid working arrangement.
Responsibilities:
Assist fee earners with a diverse caseload of fraud motor cases, from inception to resolution.
Conducting thorough investigations, including gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
Maintain accurate records and case files using the firm's case management system.
Liaise with clients and external parties, providing updates and ensuring case progression.
Review and assess motor insurance claims, identifying potential fraud indicators.
Collaborate with clients, insurers, and other parties to obtain necessary evidence and documentation.
Researching to support legal strategies and case development.
What will help you succeed in this role? :
Essential
Previous paralegal experience in fraud or motor insurance claims is essential. Strong knowledge of the UK legal system and civil litigation process. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
Desirable
Strong organisational and communication skills. Proficiency in legal research and using case management software. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
