Lead Pizza Chef

to join our dynamic and expanding team. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a genuine love for pizza and a keen interest in all things "nerdy" to contribute to a creative and supportive work environment. We're looking for someone who shares our commitment to crafting exceptional pizzas and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

As a key member of our operations team, you will collaborate with the production manager to help shape our culinary direction and ensure the highest standards are maintained. Your responsibilities will extend beyond the kitchen, including:

Staff Training:

Mentoring and training new and existing team members to uphold our quality standards.

Shift Coverage:

Providing support and leadership during busy periods and covering shifts as needed.
The ideal candidate will be an expert in all facets of pizza production, from preparation to service. Your core tasks will include:

Dough Preparation:

Expertly preparing and balling up dough.

Pizza Production:

Mastering the art of stretching, topping, and cooking pizzas in our ovens.

Kitchen Management:

Taking ownership of prep lists, general kitchen duties, and managing incoming orders.

Team Leadership:

Leading a busy service with efficiency and a positive attitude.

Quality Assurance:

Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and product consistency, ensuring every pizza is served the "Pizza Geeks way."

Previous experience in a professional pizza-making role is essential.

Candidates who do not have this specific experience will not be considered for this position.

This is a full-time position, although can be flexible for the right candidate. Working days will vary, and you must have availability during evenings and weekends.
