I am delighted to introduce you to Orchards Academy, a secondary school that is at the heart of the local community. Following the recent move into our new building we are very excited to be seeking a Lead Practitioner of Geography to play a central role in raising standards across our school.

We're looking for an inspirational leader with a proven track record of raising student attainment. You should have a deep and up-to-date subject knowledge, and the ability to inspire your colleagues. You'll work closely with the Head of Humanities and the wider leadership team to drive excellence and share best practice. Key Responsibilities Include:
Coaching & Mentoring: Work with teachers to improve their pedagogical practice.
Curriculum Development: Lead the design of a challenging and ambitious Geography curriculum.
Modelling Outstanding Practice: Teach a reduced timetable to model excellent teaching and learning.
Professional Development: Lead and deliver training sessions for staff.
