Bradford District Care Trust has an exciting opportunity to join the trust as a Psychological Therapist/Practitioner within Children Young Peoples Mental Health Services (CYPMHS). We are looking to recruit band 7 Psychological Therapist/Practitioner into the Children in Special Circumstances offer within CAMHS. The Children in special Circumstances offer covers Looked after and adopted children, strengthening families and Youth Justice pathways and operates within a neuro affirmative, trauma informed framework and approach.
You will be working in a community based multi-disciplinary team delivering a service to children in a rich and diverse community, young people and their families in a supportive and lively team, where different professions are respected and valued. You will have the opportunity to play a significant role in the leadership delivery of a modernised and comprehensive service.

Working as part of the Children In Special Circumstances offer within CAMHS you will be supporting children, young people their families/carers and the system around them who require a getting more help getting risk support approach. These children and young people may experience moderate to severe mental health difficulties and needs and they will be supported through the provision of consultation, assessment, evidence based psychological intervention, working collaboratively across the system and joint casework with other CAMHS teams when clinically indicated.
To make autonomous clinical decisions about own professional practice within the context of multi-disciplinary team approach.
To provide specialist supervision, consultation, teaching and training to colleagues in children's health and education services as required on issues relating to children and young people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties
To contribute to service development and delivery activities both internally and in partnerships with key stakeholders
