About this opportunity



A fantastic opportunity has arisen as a Lead Quality Engineer to nurture a high performing, learning centric team. Accountable for ensuring the products developed meet the quality standards & acceptance criteria in line with LBG's; Group Test Strategy, Engineering Standard & Guardrails & Tech Strategy! You will be an active member of the LBG QE Community and FNZ Lab leadership team transforming how we deliver change!


Key responsibilities:

Develop and/or delivers budget plans for own area with guidance from senior colleagues. Take responsibility for implementing formal development frameworks for a substantial department, while informally coaching and mentoring others throughout the organisation and investing in own personal development. Identify ways to improve processes, proposes improvements, and implements them for organizational development. Provide input into the development of IT Security policies, develops underlying procedures and monitors their implementation for area of responsibility within the organisation. Manage the development and/or operation of knowledge management system with guidance from senior colleagues. Develop and/or delivers a plan for a specific area of responsibility by managing others. Set longer term objectives and takes responsibility for implementing and coordinating performance management systems for a substantial department within the organisation. Analyse and evaluates the feasibility/relevance of proposals for complex products/services, then develops and amends as necessary with guidance from senior colleagues and/or supervises activities performed by a product development/specialist team. Identify and evaluates complex expertise-led solutions against a range of criteria to find the ones that best meet business needs. Develop tactical plans for optimisation of resources and assets being managed within a given area or department. Develop and/or delivers components of a planning framework with mentorship from senior colleagues. Meet changing requirements by developing new testing approaches and strategy for a defined range of products and/or operations.
