What you\'ll be doing

As a Lead Recruiter, you will have the following accountabilities:

  • Deliver a full 360 recruitment model, by partnering with Hiring Managers and senior stakeholders, to develop a systematic and clear recruitment strategy on all roles and manage and support the Recruiter to achieve the same
  • Responsibility for the life-cycle of recruiting process - providing clear direction and targets/objectives to, around direct contact to potential candidates and creative talent pooling and pipelining, industry networking, utilising internal referrals and the use of multichannel sourcing to attract a diverse pool of top talent
  • Provide support and innovation with new strategies for attracting top talent, focusing on pipeline development for key positions and strategic recruitment delivery planning, using workforce plans to ensure the team is capable of working flexibly to deliver on business requirements
  • Review processes to identify and implement best practice sharing and communication
  • As a Senior Recruitment Team, collectively define and own the candidate experience at all stages of the recruitment process
  • Ensure compliance across the team, including data integrity, SLAs, KPIs and use of Applicant Tracking System and own the recruitment process from ATR through to On Boarding
  • Ensure a robust management and reduction of agency PSL spend through efficiencies within the \xe2\x80\x98direct source\xe2\x80\x99 model
  • Lead by example to ensure \xe2\x80\x98best practice\xe2\x80\x99 in recruitment assessment methodology
  • Ensure all advertising channels are optimised by using the BBUK tone of voice, social channels are appropriately used and the team adopt a search and network approach to recruitment
  • Drive the internal mobility and alumni strategy and approach for ensuring internal candidates and previous employees are redeployed where possible and as a priority
  • Provide external market intelligence and research to support the overall resourcing strategy or relevant business change
  • Support a range of broader Resourcing projects as required, specifically in relation to the delivery of the overall talent strategy

Who we\'re looking for
The following qualities/experience are essential:
  • Proven track record of working as a 360 Senior Recruiter, within an in-house Resourcing function and the management of a Recruiter[s]
  • You will be aligned to one of our key specialist areas and you are required to demonstrate considerable experience of recruiting into that sector and you are a true subject matter expert
  • Experience of owning, maintaining and developing stakeholder/Hiring Manager relationships, including appropriate influencing skills
  • A personable team player \xe2\x80\x93 works collaboratively with colleagues and demonstrates a willingness to \xe2\x80\x98get the job done\xe2\x80\x99
  • Assertive, highly professional and willing to both challenge and be challenged and demonstrates self-awareness and emotional intelligence in their relationships with others
  • Track record of successful and innovative sourcing strategies.
  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, social media and recruiting process workflows
  • Experience developing creative resource planning tools and approaches
  • Full understanding of employment laws and regulations relevant to recruitment & selection
  • Proven experience of significant cost reduction initiatives through Resourcing strategies Acts as an ambassador for Balfour Beatty, networking externally in the interest of business activities, promoting Balfour Beatty as an Employer of Choice
