Job Overview


We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced

Lead Sports Coach

to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging, and developmentally appropriate sports coaching across our core programmes:

holiday camps, school-based after-school clubs, PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) cover

, and

children's birthday parties

. The successful candidate will be a confident leader who is passionate about youth development and delivering memorable, fun, and inclusive sporting experiences.

Responsibilities



Plan and lead multi-sport coaching sessions across various formats including school sessions, holiday camps, and parties. Deliver engaging and inclusive after-school clubs and PPA sessions in primary schools. Run high-energy, fun, and structured birthday parties tailored to children's ages and interests. Supervise, mentor, and support assistant and junior coaches to maintain high standards of delivery. Design age-appropriate coaching plans that focus on skill development, teamwork, and enjoyment. Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all participants. Liaise professionally with schools, parents, and carers to support communication and engagement. Help set up and pack down equipment, maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. Support wider company initiatives including training, events, and promotional activities.

Skills



Excellent leadership and group management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, especially with children, parents, and school staff. Highly adaptable, enthusiastic, and confident in leading varied session formats. Organised, punctual, and reliable with great attention to detail. Ability to inspire and motivate children of all ages and abilities. Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, and child protection best practices.

Minimum Qualifications



Minimum Level 2 Coaching Qualification (in one or more recognised sports). 3+ years' experience working with children in a coaching or teaching capacity. Valid First Aid and Child Safeguarding certifications. Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check Experience with holiday camps, after-school clubs, and/or party delivery is a strong advantage. Clean driving licence (desirable).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 100.00-150.00 per day

Expected hours: 2 - 40 per week
