Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate, reliable and experienced
PE Lead / Sports Coach
to join our team. This role will involve leading and delivering engaging PE lessons in one of our partnered primary schools, supporting our after-school club programme, and playing a key role in our holiday camp activities during school holidays.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality, curriculum-based PE lessons in a primary school setting.
Lead a variety of sports and physical activities that are inclusive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate for children aged 4-11.
Support and manage after-school sports clubs, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.
Take a leading role in delivering structured and fun sports sessions at our holiday camps.
Build positive relationships with school staff, parents and children to promote participation and wellbeing.
Maintain a safe environment by following safeguarding, health & safety and behaviour management procedures.
Monitor and report on children's progress, participation and achievements.
Represent Ballers Sports Coaching in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Person Specification Essential:
Proven experience in sports coaching and working with children aged 4-11.
Recognised coaching qualifications (e.g. Level 2 in a relevant sport or equivalent).
Good knowledge of the PE National Curriculum and child development.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Ability to motivate and engage children of varying abilities.
A proactive, enthusiastic and positive attitude.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
First Aid and Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete).
Desirable:
Experience working in a school environment.
Additional coaching qualifications or multi-sport experience.
Access to own transport and full driving licence.
Working Hours:
Term-time: Core hours within the school day for PE delivery, plus after-school clubs.
School holidays: Full-day shifts at holiday camps (typically Monday to Friday).
