Located in our Montrose Machine Shop at NOV Tuboscope (NOV) and reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for a range of stores activities, including material and stock control for all Machine Shop consumables. Operating within a dynamic manufacturing environment, your role is critical to maintaining safety and the highest quality standards. In addition to warehousing operations, there are opportunities to learn new skills such as swaging, torquing, blasting, coating, and saw cutting of raw materials.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out the movement of equipment, materials, and components within the Machine Shop
Ensure defects in materials, components, or equipment are reported per company procedures
Liaise with the Operations Manager and Supervisor regarding customer and project-related issues
Report and engage in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives
Maintain adherence to NOV's standards and procedures
Assist machinists as required
Keep the shop clean, tidy, and hazard-free
Maintain adequate stock levels in the store
Arrange deliveries of completed goods to customers
Receive goods into NOV's stores and book them into stock
Support production in swaging, torquing, and saw cutting operations
Ensure compliance with all HSE legislation and company policies
Qualifications & Skills
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Competent in mathematics
Computer literate
Ability to prioritise workloads effectively
Skilled in the use of lifting equipment
Strong purchasing knowledge
Understanding of various manufacturing methods
Full driving licence
Competent understanding of engineering drawings and terminologies
Interpersonal Skills
Ability to work independently using own initiative
Positive and proactive attitude
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
