As our Lead Technician, you'll oversee daily operations in the field, manage a small team of technicians, coordinate scheduling, and ensure our customers receive a seamless, high-quality experience.
Key Responsibilities
Field Work
Lead the
safe delivery, installation, disassembly, and maintenance
of saunas across customer locations.
Conduct
site assessments
to determine suitability for sauna placement.
Perform
routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting
on saunas (rental and sold units).
Deliver clear
customer instruction and support
on sauna usage.
Coordinate and
oversee unloading of 40ft containers
with 50+ saunas and parts.
Maintain the company van (cleaning, servicing, minor upkeep).
Supervise
waste disposal
, stock counts, and general equipment upkeep.
Train, support, and oversee
junior/casual technicians
on-site.
Administrative & Scheduling Duties
Take charge of
all technician scheduling
, including installations, maintenance, returns, and repossessions.
Proactively contact customers
within 24 hours of schedule confirmation to arrange appointments.
Text customers
the evening before appointments with reminders or ETAs.
Maintain communication with our
3rd party logistics and warehouse team
, including weekly picklists and returned stock updates.
Respond to internal emails, messages, and customer queries
in a timely, professional manner.
Keep accurate records of all installations, issues, and completed tasks (including photo documentation).
Manage the
hours and availability
of casual/assistant technicians.
What We're Looking For
Valid
UK driving licence
(clean record required).
Strong
mechanical aptitude
and confident using tools and handling physical tasks.
Previous experience in
installations, logistics, or field technician work
is ideal.
Excellent
communication and leadership skills -
you'll be the face of our team in the field.
Highly
organised
, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
Comfortable with
light admin tasks
and using digital scheduling tools (training provided).
A problem-solver with a
can-do attitude
