WHAT TO EXPECT

The successful individual will Lead daily operations within Rotating Machine Test - Engines & Brakes.

You will be required to manage and support a big team of Technicians to deliver programme requirements working alongside other stakeholders.

You will lead Health & Safety within the area, ensuring the team and environment are compliant with both ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

You would also be looked upon to support requirements with any other Powertrain delivery if required.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • To LEAD the support in technical and supervisory requirements to the hourly test team in order to meet and exceed productive output targets.
  • To LEAD resolution and implementation of solutions to resource, facility and data quality issues, including planning.
  • To LEAD the administration of the Daily, Weekly and Monthly Operational checks to ensure Operational delivery is maintained.
  • To administer a team of hourly paid associates (Shift).
  • To support all H&S, TPM, OPex, training and development requirements.
  • To process quality, eTracker and utilisation data and provide evidence-based improvement plan.
  • To support identification in efficiencies in current process and deliver improvements.
  • To produce and publish process\' for team and customer interface.
  • To support RMTC status meetings including HS, CCARS, Utilisation and Planning meetings
  • To support and facilitate apprentice, new starter and existing team member development in the team.
  • To ensure processes are worked to and maintained ensuring high quality and Stakeholder value.
WHAT YOU\'LL NEED

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Proven leadership and workload management experience.
  • Proven ability to plan effectively and achieve quality results.
  • Natural problem-solver with proven experience and structured approach to problem solving in a technical environment.
  • Detailed knowledge of Health and Safety requirements, including Risk Assessment, COSHH and MSDS.
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office competency to produce plans, presentations, graphs, and process, SPL documents.
  • Experience in a testing environment, with a knowledge of measurement technology and facility requirements.
  • Commitment, flexibility, self-motivation, robust clear communication.
  • Background in quality standards and audit processes.
