As a Lead Therapeutic Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in the development of our Newport MyST residential team. You will utilise Mental health and therapeutic practices to ensure the highest standards of care and support for children, young people, and families in Newport homes. You will be part of a team delivering therapeutic interventions that are responsive, effective, and tailored to the needs of those we support.
Our Newport community team is a well-established, experienced and high performing multi-disciplinary team, providing excellent mental health and therapeutic care to some of Newport's most vulnerable children and young people. The development of a residential MyST team follows on from the success of our model of in reach therapeutic care to our Caerphilly LA homes. You will also be a part of our Regional, Gwent wide MyST Program.
About You:
You will have a passion for therapeutic practice within residential care settings. You will be enthusiastic about making a positive impact and have excellent communication skills. You will be committed to continuous improvement and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
You will work in close partnerships with all stakeholders to achieve effective outcomes.
