As our new

Lead UI Artist

, you will define and deliver the visual language, style, and artistic quality of our game's user interface. Drawing on your deep experience in

UI/UX design

, you'll lead by example crafting slick, intuitive interfaces that elevate gameplay, immersion, and player experience. You'll inspire your team to achieve polished visuals and drive a cohesive, world-class UI vision across the multiple project features.

Key Responsibilities



Responsibilities

Lead hands-on UI art creation, including visual concepts, motion mock-ups, and in-engine implementation. Partner with stakeholders to establish and communicate the creative vision, providing direction and constructive feedback to guide the UI team toward exceptional results. Define, document, and uphold visual standards, style guides, and pipelines to ensure a consistent, high-quality user experience. Mentor and develop the UI team, offering guidance, critique, and support to raise the artistic and technical quality bar. Collaborate cross-functionally with design, art, and engineering teams to solve complex UI challenges and iterate on designs based on feedback and usability testing. Work efficiently in a live-service environment, delivering polished, high-quality UI updates and feature advancements aligned with the ongoing content roadmap. Stay at the forefront of industry trends, AI, tools, and best practices, bringing innovative approaches to push the boundaries of interactive UI design.


Skills, Knowledge & Expertise



Requirements

Extensive experience in UI/UX design for video games, including at least one shipped title in a leadership or lead artist capacity. Expert-level proficiency with Unreal Editor, including a thorough understanding of its UI/UX tools, workflows, and implementation techniques. Strong technical foundation, with proficiency in design and art tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Figma, Motion Graphics tools, and familiarity with source control systems and UI scripting workflows. Exceptional artistic and design sensibilities, demonstrated through a portfolio that highlights a diverse range of UI work and meticulous attention to detail. Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with a track record of empowering teams to reach and exceed creative goals. Strong communication and collaboration abilities, capable of aligning creative direction across disciplines and articulating feedback clearly and constructively. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to accept feedback positively and help the team deliver on vision and requirements.
