Lead Vet Required In Northern Ireland

Job Description


We have a fantastic opportunity in Northern Ireland for a Lead Vet to join this incredible team of 1 HVN and 2 RVNs, 1 Head CCA, CCAs and PCAs.

The Lead Vet is responsible for directing the practice and it\'s staff in providing the very best care to patients and clients alongside consulting and surgical duties. This includes;

- Managing the performance, budget and overall profitability of the practice
- Ensuring all team members provide quality and ethical care
- Perform diagnostic laboratory, imaging and ultrasound testing where required.
- Prescribe medication.
- Promote preventative care by advocating and administering routine vaccinations and immunisations.
- Educate clients on positive lifestyle choices
- Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain patients medical records.

The role is full time, working 39 hours per week over the course of 4 days. There is also some Saturday mornings required, however these can be flexible.

It is within a well-equipped branch, that was built for purpose and newly renovated.
