Job Overview


We have a key role for an enthusiastic, friendly and compassionate Lead Reception team member at our independent practice.

Your role would include:



Managing the team at reception Organising regular meetings with your staff Ensuring customer care is given to the highest standards Dealing with any issues that may occur on a day-to-day basis Liasing with other teams within the practice to maintain good communication Creating a staff rota, and arranging holiday cove Health and Safety updated continually

Skills required for this role are as follows:



Excellent communication skills face to face, by telephone and email as part of the customer journey Manage a busy diary, booking appointments and dealing with emergencies in an efficient and calm manner Accounting skills, cashing up, handling financial transactions and recovering outstanding balances Maintaining our Healthy Pet Club Computer literacy General housekeeping Stock control Experience in the insurance claims process Ability to remain calm in a high pressure, fast-paced environment Able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
Previous experience in a busy customer facing environment is essential, preference will be shown to applicants with a veterinary background.

You must be able to commit to working 37.5 hours per week in a flexible working pattern which will include weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 28,000.00 per year
