As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patrons have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with food preparation when necessary.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus in a friendly manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met. Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and promotions. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Assist in food preparation as needed, demonstrating culinary skills where applicable. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance their experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and communication.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively. A positive attitude with strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members alike. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Types: Temporary, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-19.14 per hour
