We are looking for someone driven and with a \'hands on\' approach, being able to not only influence, but deliver their own projects independently - moving at pace in an extremely agile business environment.



Shift pattern: You\'ll be required to work a split shift (9-6 or 10-7) and occasionally a night shift depending on the needs of the business, this can also include weekend work.

  • Working closely with a small team to scope and deliver projects on time and to budget.
  • \'Cradle to grave\' lean/CI projects on site - accountable for delivery of mini-projects and partnering with operations on longer term projects.
  • Supporting others in the delivery of their mini-projects, providing structure and coaching to ensure effective root cause problem solving / project management disiplines
  • Driving sustainable improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & People (SQDCP)
  • Monitoring delivery to the SQDCP plan on site, with direct responsibility for on time in full, efficiency improvements, and defect / quality improvement.
  • Holding monthly inbound/outbound operational performance reviews/forums with the 6 key departments across inbound and outbound.
  • Working with site leadership to define their priority improvement objectives and the delivery of Rapid Improvement Events.
  • Site Operational Excellence audits, Value Stream Mapping and Diagnostic activities
  • Driving the highest standards of safety on site, working with the Safety team to ensure safety and standards are a key part of 5S activity.
  • Supporting the development of a long term CI programme within the warehouse teams, to promote accountability and ownership of CI within departments.
Qualifications
  • Lean Six Sigma qualification or equivalent demonstrated / proven experience
  • Working knowledge, understanding and achievement of measurable results as a result of the implementation of CI methodologies
  • Strong background across Improvement, CI, Warehousing, Logistics or Supply Chain
  • Customer focused approach to operational management
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills
  • Good problem solving, analytical and systems skills
  • Resilient, flexible and approachable
  • Multi-cultural experience
