We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mentor to join our team, focusing on the development and education of young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. This role involves working closely with children, guiding their educational journey, and providing essential support in their developmental milestones.
Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one mentoring and tutoring to children, helping them achieve their educational goals.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the individual needs of each child.
Foster a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and a love for learning.
Assist with preschool and toddler care, ensuring a safe and stimulating atmosphere.
Educate children on various subjects, including physical education, promoting overall health and well-being.
Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss progress and address any concerns regarding their child's development.
Utilise effective communication skills to support children with speech therapy needs, if applicable.
Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and adapt teaching methods as necessary.
Requirements
Proven experience in early childhood education or related fields such as preschool teaching, tutoring, or mentoring.
Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
Experience working with children in various capacities, including childcare or toddler care settings.
Ability to create engaging educational activities that cater to different learning styles.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with children effectively.
A background in teaching physical education is advantageous but not mandatory.
A genuine passion for educating young minds and supporting their growth.
Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or related fields are preferred.
