Faculty
The postholder will be part of an interdisciplinary research and implementation within the Institute for Health and Social Care Research. You will work in partnership with Active Bradford in delivering the JUMP whole-system project for children and young people.
What you will be doing:
This is a hybrid delivery and evaluation role, leading the delivery of the JUMP schools programme, integrating a research-based approach to develop and evolve the programme. You will
lead communities of practice (up to 100 schools)
Work with the JUMP implementation team at Active Bradford to ensure schools are connected to the broader whole-system working.
Develop assets to support the impact and sustainable delivery of the JUMP schools approach (e.g. teacher training).
Research the JUMP school programme
Qualifications/ experience:
Postgraduate qualification in Education or health
Implementing educational, health, and well-being policies within a school.
Using a range of qualitative research methodologies with school-based stakeholders or similar to understand programme implementation and effectiveness.
Using quantitative methods to assess the effectiveness and implementation of school-based health programmes.
Design, deliver and evaluate high-quality training programmes for school stakeholders.
Network with varied stakeholder groups.
Local and regional partnership work that links practice and research.
