The British Fluid Power Association (BFPA) is the only UK trade association for the UK fluid power industry.
Set up by the industry for the industry, the BFPA has represented the fluid power sector for 65 years. With over 250 members, the BFPA is proud to represent manufactures, distributors, resellers, OEMs, end users and educational/academics organisations.
One of the main roles of the Association is to create, maintain and provide education and training within the fluid power industry. To continue the growth of the membership and educational programme, we are recruiting for the role of Training Administrator
Main Purpose of the Role: -
To provide administrative support and organise training activities for the BFPA. Working with a small team. Reporting into the Director of Membership & Training.
Main role responsibilities
Manage and co-ordinate BFPA training between our trainers and customers - answer enquiries, send out quotes, agree dates, process purchase orders
Raise invoices, create certificates, training cards, collate and send out training literature/packs
Work with our printing supplier, order training literature and manage stock supplies
Secretary to BFPA Learning and Development (user group) Committee, managing meetings, create agendas and record meeting minutes/actions
Maintain accurate, training records
Record all training delegates in training database and CRM (HubSpot)
Coordinate membership and training events as well as trade shows & exhibitions.
Other responsibilities
Working with the team, provide suggestions for monthly advertisement to promote the association and its marketing activities.
Maintain the CRM (HubSpot) system as and when needed
Skills: -
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong relationship building skills
Good telephone manner
Competence in the use of the Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
Good organisational and time management skills with a requirement to be able to work independently
Must be able to meet fixed timelines
Ability to make decisions and multitask to achieve numerous ongoing tasks
A strong work ethic and a commitment to the values of the company
Good personal presentation and dress-code
Pro-active and show initiative
A personable team player with a co-operative manner
Ability to manage digital and social media/website, advantageous but not essential
Knowledge of working with a CRM such as HubSpot, advantageous but not essential
This is an office-based role located in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. 25 days holiday plus stats, generous pension, 9 to 5 Monday to Thursday, Friday finish at 3:30.
