What We're Looking For

We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious Apprentice to join our Learning and Development department. This role will be ideal for a school leaver or someone who is looking to kickstart their career in the construction industry. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience within a fast paced and growing organisation and become a key asset to the team.

The purpose of this role is to assist the Learning and Development department with ensuring that we have a professional and competent workforce. Alongside this, an office-based apprenticeship will be organised to suit you and your career goals, to support your growth and professional development.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Support the team to ensure that training and development provided to staff is in line with job profiles.

Assisting the team with the delivery of internal and external training.

Supporting management and the wider team to ensure that all training complies with standards and regulations.

Identify ways in which MV Kelly can promote learning and development opportunities and supporting the team to integrate these.

Assisting the team with various administration tasks, including call handling, Apprentice Levy and CITB Grants Schemes.

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 GCSE's.

Computer Literate and proficient in Excel.

Well organised with a strong work ethic.

Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Self-motivated.

Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with others.

Willingness to learn.

Hard working.

Enthusiastic and determined.

About MV Kelly

Formed in 1995 by father and son, MV Kelly performs residential groundworks for blue chip housing developers covering the breadth of the country. The works involves adopted infrastructure and foundations across circa 250 sites at any one time. Our Head Office is based in Solihull with established regional offices throughout the UK.

Pay: 24,479.00 per year
