We're looking for a dedicated warm and friendly
Learning & Development Trainer
to support the development of our skilled teams across our homes in Worcestershire and Herefordshire. You'll play a vital role in delivering our
Heritage training
, empowering our team members to provide outstanding care and enabling residents to live their best lives.
Key Responsibilities:
As a key member of our group's training and development team, your responsibilities will include to:
Deliver Mandatory & Best Practice Skills Training across all homes. This will include face-to-face, Teams and other training methods.
Work with the Training Manager to develop and implement in-house training.
Support the Peer Mentor Program to onboard and inspire new team members.
Collaborate with managers to promote high standards of care through coaching and training.
Champion specialised skills development, helping team members become subject-area leaders.
Ensure accurate training records, matrices and compliance with CQC and Skills for Care guidelines.
Key Requirements:
Travel between Heritage Manor locations within the Worcestershire and Herefordshire areas as required.
Level 3 Care Qualification
or nursing qualification, with a passion for training and development.
At least
2 years' experience as a trainer or similar role
.
Strong communication skills adaptable to all learning styles and levels.
A commitment to promoting dignity and respect in elderly care.
A willingness to undertake a Level 3 teaching qualification if not already held.
