Job Description

The Learning and Development Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating multiple training events to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees across the organization. This role involves working closely with the Head of L&D, various trainers and departments to support delivery of training, scheduling and organizing training sessions, and ensuring that all logistical aspects of training programmes run smoothly. The coordinator will also be the first point of contact for online learning platforms and resources, ensuring that digital training materials are accessible and effective. There will also be the opportunity for delivery of some elements of M&D Care's induction training programme.

Role and Responsibilities



Plan, schedule, and coordinate the delivery of various training events, ensuring they align with the organization's goals and timelines

Coordinate the activities of trainers and instructors, supporting trainers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and information to deliver effective training events

To analyse information, prioritise and meet deadlines as well as problem solve and work collaboratively with specialists and operational colleagues to ensure learning needs are met

Support the management and delivery of in-house online training elements, overseeing and managing our in-house eLearning platforms

To act as a first point of contact for all Learning and Development queries

To establish and maintain effective communication networks with a variety of key stakeholders, both internal and external

Work with managers to assist in the identification of learning needs and to work with the Head of L&D to coordinate a response to these needs

Undertake and contribute to L&D Project work and initiatives and provide efficient high level support for other office initiatives

Provide information to managers around staff compliance with mandatory training and liaise with key players across organization to meet set requirements

To proactively promote and encourage participation in training and education programmes and ensure maximum attendance and completion rates

Skills and Qualifications

o An adult training qualification is desirable. Where a training qualification is not present, this is not a barrier though there will be an expectation and opportunity for this to be completed within role

o Excellent communication and colleague training abilities

o Proficiency in training software and e-learning platforms

o Analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and implement improvements

o Strong IT skills and knowledge of MS Office packages
