Learning and Development Coordinator

to take the lead in sourcing, coordinating, and administering high-quality training across our organisation.

About the Role



As our

Learning and Development Coordinator

, you'll work closely with colleagues and external providers to source and deliver a wide range of training opportunities -- from mandatory and specialist courses to Level 2 qualifications and beyond.

A key part of the role will be

maximising funding opportunities through Skills for Care

, helping us make the most of our training budget while ensuring every team member has access to meaningful professional development that supports both quality care and career growth.

Key Responsibilities



Source and coordinate effective training solutions that align with adult social care priorities, including Level 2 qualifications. Track and drive progress on the Care Certificate process. Manage all aspects of training administration, including scheduling, attendance, record-keeping, and evaluation. Maximise

Skills for Care

funding (including the Workforce Development Fund) through accurate claims and evidence submission. Support the delivery of the annual

Learning and Development Plan

. Collaborate with managers to identify training needs and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g.,

CQC

). Evaluate training effectiveness and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For



Experience in a learning and development or training coordination role (preferably within

adult social care

). Knowledge of

Skills for Care

funding and social care qualification frameworks. Strong administrative and IT skills (e.g.,

Microsoft Office

, Learning Management Systems). Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. A values-driven, person-centred approach to workforce development.
