About The Role




As our new

Learning and Development Coordinator

, you will play a

central role in shaping the learning experience

of every colleague across Compass. This is a role with

real impact

, where your organisation, energy and passion for helping others grow will directly support our mission to deliver outstanding health and wellbeing services to children, young people and families.



Working within the

People Team

, you will coordinate learning activity across multiple services, ensuring every colleague has access to

high quality

,

well organised

, and

engaging learning

. You will manage training sessions, work with external providers, support managers and maintain accurate learning records across our systems.



You will take the lead in

tracking attendance and completion

, updating our HR and eLearning platforms, and producing

clear, meaningful reports

that help us understand our organisational learning needs. You will support induction, maintain compliance records and help shape our learning offer through improved processes and resources.

About You




You are someone with a

genuine passion for learning and development

and a natural drive to help people grow. You bring warmth, curiosity and strong organisation, and you enjoy creating positive learning experiences for colleagues. You're confident working with data, comfortable coordinating multiple tasks and you thrive in a collaborative team that values accuracy, communication and continuous improvement.


Essential Criteria



Level 2 GNVQ or equivalent qualification

Strong skills in data analysis and reporting

Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 especially Excel

Experience in an administrative or coordination role

Excellent organisation and attention to detail

Clear and professional communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Proactive, adaptable approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Friendly and professional manner with the ability to build positive relationships Demonstrates our

Interest in learning and development of self and others

Experience with learning management systems, HR administration or working with training providers would be helpful but aren't essential. What matters most is your commitment to

creating a supportive and effective learning environment.





You'll also need access to a car/driving licence or Access to Work as you could be expected to travel (primarily to Head Office in York for meetings or to other locations to deliver/facilitate training etc).
