Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Creatively design and adapt curricula to meet the diverse needs of adult learners, particularly in SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), SGS Well and sport-based education.
Lead and manage the delivery of flagship programmes such as In2Sport, SGS Well and Hope, ensuring high-quality learner experiences and measurable impact.
Drive the financial success of the adult learning provision, working towards a target income of nearly 1 million annually.
Lead, support, and develop a team of lecturers, coaches, and support staff.
Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including funders, community organisations, and local authorities.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
Understanding of SEND frameworks, inclusive education practices, and relevant legislation.
Knowledge of sport and physical activity as a tool for engagement, education, and personal development.
Proven ability to lead and motivate teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with learners, partners, and stakeholders
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple programmes and priorities
