The Role




Are you passionate about creating engaging, effective learning experiences? Join our growing People Development team as a Learning Designer at Unite Students! In this pivotal role, you`ll take the lead in designing and developing in-house digital learning resources, supporting our people`s growth across the organization. You`ll have the chance to craft and shape our learning materials, create innovative content, and make a real impact as we roll out a brand-new Learning Experience System. What you`ll be doing




Crafting Engaging Learning Experiences: Design and develop impactful learning journeys from concept to completion, aligning each with our organisational goals, values and brand standards. Collaborating with Stakeholders: Partner with key stakeholders to understand specific learning objectives and co-create tailored content for online, virtual, and live environments, covering areas like compliance, onboarding, and skills training. Producing High Quality Learning Materials: Leverage tools like Articulate Storyline and Camtasia to create dynamic, engaging learning materials that promote active learning and retention. Applying Learning Theory: Incorporate principles from learning theory to design effective, learner-focused content that maximises engagement and understanding. Delivering Custom Solutions: Apply technical skills as needed to provide innovative, customised solutions that meet unique learning needs. Ensuring Quality and Functionality: Test and troubleshoot content rigorously to guarantee functionality and effectiveness. Meeting Deadlines with Excellence: Develop high quality content under tight timelines without sacrificing attention to detail. Embracing New Technologies: Continuously explore emerging tools and technologies to elevate our custom eLearning solutions that blend creative writing, instructional design principles, and cutting-edge learning technologies.

What we`re looking for in you




Technical Expertise: Proficiency in eLearning tools (Articulate Storyline, Camtasia) and video editing software; coding experience a plus. Instructional Design Knowledge: Strong grasp of learning theories and design principles, with a proactive approach to industry trends. Content Creation & Development: Skilled in designing and developing engaging, interactive eLearning modules that align with learning objectives and organisational brand guidelines. Creative Problem Solving: Ability to think innovatively to tackle technical challenges and create captivating learning experiences. User-Centred Design: Strong storyboarding, visual design, and UX skills to create intuitive, learner friendly interfaces. Stakeholder Management: Experience working with SMEs to gather insights, challenge the ordinary and co-create content that is accessible and relevant. Adaptable & Agile: Able to manage multiple projects, and thrive working in an agile, fast-paced environment and respond to evolving needs with cross-functional collaboration. Accessibility Focused: Knowledgeable in creating inclusive learning content for diverse audiences leveraging multimedia to increase learner engagement with content. Complex Content Simplification: Skilled at translating complex subjects into easily digestible, bite-sized, learner-focused material, making sure the learning stays on point. Continuous Improvement: Driven to refine content based on feedback, testing, and new learning technologies to enhance learner engagement
