Are you ready to unleash your creativity? We're looking for a dynamic and innovative individual to join our team as an LD Content Designer! You'll be the creative genius behind crafting cutting-edge learning experiences. From forming digital content that ensures our training aligns perfectly with our company values, to working in partnership with the wider LD team to support with the design and development of innovative and connected learning interventions.



You'll report directly to the Head of LD, and forms part of our wider People Culture team. This role is fixed term from February for 9 months. It can be based in our Head Office in Edinburgh or London, with hybrid working and UK travel to support onsite initiatives.


Role Overview:





The main responsibilities of the LD Content Designer are:


Supporting the development and design of technology-led and blended learning solutions. Maintaining and adhering to document control and authoring practices of a structured content library. Deploying 5DI principles approach to all new content design work. Support, create and author digital content and scorm files for all audiences. Support the development of storyboards and curriculum aligned to our values and brand standards. Conduct regular Training Design Reviews of all training to ensure courses are up-to-date and that they satisfy relevant operational / workplace performance requirements. Update of Training Design to incorporate relevant recommendations and feedback from internal and external stakeholders.

About you:





This is an exciting opportunity for someone to be part of our learning evolution. The following range of characteristics and competencies are required/sought:


CIPD qualified or with an organisational development or learning qualification (or equivalent). Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods. Proven ability in developing learning outcomes, defined SMART objectives and success measures. Working understanding of the 5Di design methodology Understand importance to maintain and adhere to existing quality assurance practices. Experience in change management of learning programmes to ensure that training remains up-to-date and satisfies operational / workplace performance requirements. Knowledgeable in the design and development of blended learning programmes and accelerated learner competences. Can demonstrate the importance that content is compliant with brand guidelines and tone of voice. Experience in a hospitality setting, either within operations or in a training capacity. Proven experience of working with online learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise and Adobe Captivate. Self-motivated, and passionate about hospitality. Strong IT skills, conversant with Microsoft office. Exceptional writing, proofing, and content design skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and delivering against deadlines.
