Role Overview:



As a Learning & Development Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the coordination, administration, and delivery of learning and development activities across the SIG Group. This role will be primarily focused on learning and development but will also provide administrative support for recruitment and apprenticeship programmes offering a varied and rewarding remit.


You'll be involved in everything from organising workshops and managing logistics to maintaining accurate records and supporting key talent initiatives.



Key Responsibilities:



Learning & Development

Coordinate and support learning and development activities across the business. Organise and schedule workshops, training sessions, and development events including venue bookings, logistics, and materials. Maintain accurate records of learning activity, training attendance, and evaluation data. Communicate with line managers and employees to ensure timely training bookings and attendance. Support the design and implementation of training administration procedures and systems. Collaborate with the wider L&D team to ensure seamless delivery of development programmes. Assist with L&D-related projects and initiatives led by the Head of Learning & Resourcing.


Recruitment & Apprenticeships

Provide administrative support for recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and maintaining applicant records. Liaise with apprenticeship training providers to support programme delivery. Track apprenticeship progress and maintain accurate records of learners and placements.


What We're Looking For:

Experience in an administrative or coordination role, ideally within Learning & Development, HR, or a similar people-focused environment. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong interpersonal and communication skills comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders. Good understanding of learning and organisational development principles. Experience working with data, spreadsheets, and reporting tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word). A self-motivated, can-do attitude and willingness to support wider team goals.
