Job Description

Overview:



We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Specialist to design, develop, and deliver impactful learning solutions that enhance employee skills and capabilities. This role will focus on creating engaging e-learning content, facilitating in-person and virtual training, and managing mandatory training compliance. Additionally, it will involve designing competency frameworks, improving onboarding processes, and supporting performance management, talent development, and succession planning. The successful candidate will also play a key role in driving a strong learning culture, embedding company values, and developing initiatives to enhance employee engagement and organisational performance.

Key Responsibilities:



Learning Design & Delivery



Lead learning and development projects from scoping to evaluation, ensuring measurable ROI and improved organisational performance. Develop high-quality, interactive e-learning materials in collaboration with the technical training team. Design and deliver face-to-face and virtual training sessions tailored to business needs. Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and create targeted learning interventions. Continuously update and refine learning content based on feedback and industry trends.

E-learning Platform & Compliance Management



Drive engagement and adoption of the e-learning platform, ensuring high participation rates. Monitor and manage mandatory training compliance, ensuring timely course completion. Track learning progress and generate reports for stakeholders.

Competency & Skills Development



Collaborate across departments to design competency matrices and define role-specific skill requirements. Conduct skills gap analyses to identify training and development needs. Enhance onboarding processes to ensure new employees receive structured training and support. Develop structured training programs to accelerate integration and improve early performance.

Performance Management & Talent Development



Support the performance management cycle, providing tools and training for effective performance discussions. Identify and address development needs aligned with business objectives. Contribute to succession planning and talent development by identifying high-potential employees and facilitating career development opportunities.

Workplace Culture:



Work with the HR Director and Group colleagues to drive a cultural development program aligned with Core Attributes and reinforcing company values. Foster a positive workplace culture by embedding coaching and mentoring practices.

Key Skills & Experience:



Proven experience in learning & development, instructional design, or training facilitation. Expertise in e-learning content development using tools like Articulate, Adobe Captivate, or similar. Strong facilitation skills for both in-person and virtual training. Ability to drive engagement with e-learning platforms and track learning analytics. Solid understanding of performance management, talent development, and succession planning. Knowledge of learning theories, adult learning principles, and instructional design models. Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience with LMS administration. Strong IT proficiency, including the ability to optimise digital learning solutions, and work with various software and collaboration tools. Certification in training, coaching, or instructional design (desirable but not essential).
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
