Learning Support Partner

32.5 hours per week (term time plus 5 days)

Fixed term: 01.09.2025 - 17.07.2026 (funding dependent)

Band 3: 18,796

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and caring Learning Support Partner (LSP) to join our existing team and act as key support worker for a specific student.

Our LSPs provide highly valued support, addressing the needs of students who require help overcoming barriers to learning in order to achieve their full potential. Main duties include working in the classroom to support individual, or small groups of pupils in reaching their specific social, emotional and academic targets.

The successful candidate will:

be able to work independently with individuals, small groups or within a whole class as required;

have the ability to use initiative and apply effective problem-solving skills;

be able to work as a member of a team; and

sensitively understand the needs of pupils and their families.

Experience working within education is welcome but not essential - it is more important that you are an empathetic individual who is passionate about education and helping pupils to overcome barriers to learning.
