Are you passionate about supporting students in the classroom?
For our students who find learning difficult, we are seeking a positive and motivating colleague to support on a one to one or small group basis.
You will help students, alongside the class teacher, gain full access to the school curriculum. There will be opportunities to work as an LSA on a 1-1 basis with students who need personalised support. You will need to demonstrate patience and understanding and be a good team player with experience and confidence in dealing with young people. No specific experience is necessary as full training will be given, however empathy and a desire to help students thrive in the classroom are essential.
The position may appeal to those who may be interested in a career in teaching and we would be particularly interested in candidates who can support literacy and numeracy. However, we would welcome any enthusiastic candidate with life experiences that would bring something positive to enhance our department.
