The successful candidate will need to be:
a self-motivated individual and dedicated to supporting both groups and individual students
able to effectively work as part of a team, forming positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents alike
have high expectations of themselves and others
committed work in a school that is committed to continuous school improvement and provides outstanding quality teaching and learning
Applicants must have:
5 GCSEs grade 9-4 (A - C), English and Maths are essential Excellent communication skills and an ability to work effectively in a team
Good time management skills, be well organised and competent
In addition, but not essential:
Past experience of working in a school environment would be an asset but is not a pre-requisite
Some experience of working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs or Autism Spectrum Disorder would be ideal but not essential
Key Responsibilities Include:
Working with individual pupils, groups or whole classes
Working collaboratively with colleagues to communicate key information, plan, deliver and support pupil provision
Liaising with parents/carers and external agencies
Coppice offers exciting opportunities for graduates with further training and possible access to the initial teacher training programme, candidates will ideally hold a good Honors Degree, which is desirable but not essential
