The Role
We are seeking to appoint two dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our team and support children across the school day. This role includes working within the classroom environment, providing one-to-one support as well as working with small groups of pupils. The successful candidates will support a range of learning needs, including those with more complex Special Educational Needs (SEN).
These are term-time only positions, Monday to Friday. Hours are negotiable for the right candidates.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous successful experience of working with children
Be able to work as part of a team with a positive, 'can do' attitude
Have excellent communication skills, relating well to children, colleagues and parents
Have a calm, positive and kind approach
Be adaptable to ever changing situations
Be able to work independently and with initiative
Be resilient, flexible, organised and resourceful
Be supportive of the ethos of the school
Have a clear understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
Be comfortable in supporting young children with personal care and hygiene
Is committed to the inclusion of all children in a mainstream setting
