Job Details
Salary:
SEND Learning Support Assistant Grade 3/4 (depending on experience) 24,796 - 25,989 pro rata. 28.75 hours per week, Term time only.
Midday Meals Supervisor Grade 2 24,413 - 24,796 pro rata - 2.5 hrs per week - Term time only
Working Pattern:
Monday - Friday, 8.15am - 3pm. Initially fixed term to the end of the academic year, 22/07/26, with the possibility of extending based on funding.
Location:
St Mary's Catholic Primary School, Bognor.
Closing date:
Midday Monday 10th November
Interviews:
Proposed dates 17th & 18th November
Visits to the school are encouraged.
What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to:
We seek an experienced, enthusiastic learning support assistant, preferably with experience of working with children with additional needs and/or in an Early Years setting. The successful candidate will:
be reliable and take initiative;
be sensitive and caring; able to build relationships;
have a consistent approach towards developing children's PSED through daily interactions;
be willing to become involved in children's play to extend their learning and develop independence;
be able to work with all children, including supporting children who have English as an additional; language and those with SEND;
ideally have previous experience of working in a school environment;
have passes in GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or above;
be willing to uphold our school's Catholic ethos and contribute to the wider aspects of school life;
be willing to work flexibly across the primary age range.
