Advantage Education are working with two special educational needs and difficulties (SEND) schools in and around the Winchester area. Both schools are recruiting for full time, permanent staff for next academic year, starting in September 2025.
About the schools and the role
The schools cater for pupils with needs including:
Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) Specific Learning Difficulties (SLD) Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) Autism Physical Disabilities Complex needs
The classes are small with 5-10 pupils in a class with a teacher and 2-3 support assistants. The hours of the day are 8:45-15:20, you would need to be able to offer all of these hours. The role is Monday to Friday, term time.
About you
The school are looking for people who:
Ideally have experience working with people with similar needs to pupils in the school, this could be with children or adults Caring, supportive and empathetic Ideally have experience with children Comfortable with supporting with personal care Be proactive, committed and able to build relationships easily

Pay: 13.68-14.00 per hour
