Job Summary
Engage-Ed is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, energetic, tolerant and inclusive Learning Support Assistant to join our experienced team.
TERM TIME ONLY
Working with young people aged 11 to 16 who have been excluded from mainstream school, our job is challenging yet highly rewarding for someone who thinks that everyone deserves a second, third and even fourth chance to achieve and succeed.
The ability and desire to build relationships with our young people is absolutely crucial.
The right person will be responsible for:
Supporting the preparation and teaching of GCSE Maths, GCSE English Language, Functional Skills, ASDAN and Personal Development Supporting learners to make social, emotional and academic progress Assisting with general duties in the provision Ensuring the safeguarding and wellbeing of Engage-Ed students through active supervision.
We are looking for someone who can work on a Monday to Friday from 10am to 2pm DURING TERM TIME ONLY. There will be the opportunity to increase hours/hourly rate after a successful probationary period.
14.00 per hour paid monthly
GCSE grade C/4 (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths ESSENTIAL*
UK Driving Licence and own car ESSENTIAL*
