Are you passionate about supporting learners with special educational needs? Parkview Academy is looking for a

dedicated Learning Support Assistant

to join our team.

You will work with primary, secondary, or Post-16 learners, supporting them individually and in small groups. You'll help students build

good attendance, positive relationships, routines, trust, and respect

, while contributing to their learning and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:



Support pupils with learning difficulties and disabilities in and out of lessons. Encourage independent learning, study skills, motivation, and confidence. Assist teachers in delivering lessons, preparing resources, and supervising practical tasks. Monitor pupil progress, provide feedback, and maintain records. Promote inclusion, positive behaviour, and a safe, supportive learning environment.

Requirements:



Experience working with children with SEN, complex needs, or challenging behaviour. Understanding of SEND and statutory guidance. Level 2 qualifications in English/literacy and maths/numeracy (or equivalent). Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
