Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mentor to support the educational and personal development of children in our programme. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, with experience in tutoring and special education. This role involves working closely with children, providing guidance, encouragement, and tailored educational support to help them achieve their full potential.

Duties

Provide one-on-one mentoring to children, focusing on their individual learning needs and goals. Assist with homework and educational activities, particularly in subjects such as maths and literacy. Implement strategies based on applied behaviour analysis to promote positive behaviours and learning outcomes. Support preschool and toddler care initiatives, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children. Engage in tutoring sessions that foster understanding and confidence in various subjects. Collaborate with parents and educators to track progress and adjust mentoring approaches as necessary. Conduct proofreading of educational materials to ensure clarity and accuracy. Create a supportive atmosphere that encourages children's curiosity and love for learning.

Experience

Proven experience working with children in a preschool or early childhood education setting is essential. Familiarity with special education practices is highly desirable. Background in applied behaviour analysis or similar methodologies is advantageous. Experience in tutoring or providing academic support is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine passion for educating and nurturing young minds is crucial for success in this role.

Pay: Up to 23,000.00 per year
