Job Introduction

The post is initially offered on a fixed term contract with the possibility of being extended in the future. The successful candidate will provide support for our students who are all oral communicators that access the full curriculum.


You will support our students in all classes and be responsible for adapting the curriculum to support student learning.


Good levels of numeracy and literacy are required (GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths). Previous school experience and specialist qualifications are not essential, as it is more important for the successful candidate to show empathy, resilience, initiative, dedication to our students, and a good sense of humour.


Training and guidance will be provided.


Signing is not required for this post, but is desirable, support will be given to acquire further BSL skills for interested candidates.
