Job Introduction
The post is initially offered on a fixed term contract with the possibility of being extended in the future. The successful candidate will provide support for our students who are all oral communicators that access the full curriculum.
You will support our students in all classes and be responsible for adapting the curriculum to support student learning. Good levels of numeracy and literacy are required (GCSE or equivalent in English and Math's).
Previous school experience and specialist qualifications are essential.
The successful candidate will need to show empathy, resilience, initiative, dedication to our students, and a good sense of humour. Further training and guidance will be provided. Signing is not required for this post, but it is desirable. Support will be given to acquire BSL skills for interested candidates.

Foster effective inclusion and participation of deaf children in all aspects of school life, through the development and support of deaf awareness throughout the school community.
To work with identified pupils to access the curriculum and learn to the best of their ability, supporting language and communication and access to learning,
Have students at the heart of what drives their decision making.
