New Job Advert - Learning Centre Support Worker

We have a lovely vacancy for you to support the people who attend MacIntyre Learning Centre in Warrington Cheshire. You will be working 35-hours per week, and you will be involved in two other venues, \'New Routes\' and \'The Puddle Project\'.

What will you do

To begin with, on a day to day basis you will have a lot of fun supporting people at the Learning Centre through your engagement and interactions by enabling a person\'s skillset. We have so many different activities at the Learning Centre and other venues you will be involved in doing with people we support, such as:

About you

If you have the enthusiasm and have a person-centred approach to develop and support people with their life skills, then you are likely to be a right fit for us. Do you have the skills and knowledge to be supportive in other areas such as horticulture and animal care, and have an adaptability to be proactive and learn new skills too, if you do then this role is for you.

Training and Development

At Macintyre we fully support your training and development. We know it can be daunting to start a new job, and not everyone learns the same way, so throughout your probation we will provide you with a mixture of eLearning, face-to-face training and mentoring support whilst on the job.
