The School of Nursing in the Faculty of Health Science and Wellbeing is in an exciting phase of its development with a new vision and redefined strategic ambitions designed to take advantage of the ever-changing higher education landscape at home and overseas. WE offer a range of provision including CPD short courses and post qualification awards, including our BSc (Hons) Nursing Top Up programme which is accessed on campus in Sunderland and through our transnational education partners.

About the role

We are currently seeing an experienced educator on a 12-month fixed term basis to support our internationally educated nurses, continuing their post qualification education with us.

What you can bring

The successful candidate will have experience of support a wide range of learners at undergraduate and post graduate level in their academic studies. You will have experience of providing interactive and engaging teaching, learning and facilitation and able to provide effective written and verbal feedback to learners. You will have a degree in education, nursing or health related subject and desirable to have a relevant master's degree and teaching qualification. Consideration would be given to part time working.
