As a Senior Lecturer in one of the largest providers of nurse education in the UK, you will be working with a vibrant community of academics, practitioners and researchers with a commitment to providing high-quality, research-informed teaching, to ensure active learning.
You will join a team of academic practitioners, innovating, leading, teaching and supporting registrants accessing our SPQ District Nursing and non-medical prescribing programmes. You will also support students nurses across the undergraduate and postgraduate Adult nursing curricula, alongside opportunities to be involved in research and project work. You will be involved with supporting students, linking with our practice partners, and engaging with the research agenda. There will the opportunity for line management.
You will need:
The ability to design and deliver transformative and innovative learning experiences.
Knowledge and understanding of critical, practical, and theoretical issues relevant to Community Nursing Specialist Practice and Adult nursing and the health and social care agenda.
Experience of teaching, training or supervising undergraduate and postgraduate nurses in a practice or academic environment.
Current NMC registration as an Adult Nurse, Community Nursing Specialist Practice (SPQ District Nurse) and non-medical prescriber.
Evidence of ongoing professional development.
