The Department of ISTEM (Innovation, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) plays a pivotal role in aligning our college with local and regional business needs while actively serving our community. With continued growth in 16-18 learner numbers and apprenticeships, our team is expanding, enhancing our capacity to deliver a high-quality curriculum.


This department is integral to our ongoing success in inspiring, recruiting, and supporting young learners in their achievements across Lancashire. We are now seeking an exceptional individual who can join us in shaping future successes.


We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Leturer in Engineering to join our dynamic ISTEM School.


The ideal candidate will hold a Level 4 (or above) qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline, and preferably have prior experience as a lecturer in Engineering.


The ability to deliver and assess practical workshop skills sessions would be an advantage, though not essential.

Job Title: Lecturer Engineering

Salary: From

SCP 24 (32,494) to SCP34 (43,674) per annum pro rata depending on qualifications and experience. There will be an opportunity for progression within this pay range.

Hours: 37 hours per week
