At our ARU Writtle campus, we specialise in animal, environmental, agricultural and horticultural courses, for learners aged 16 to 18, adult learners, undergraduate and postgraduate levels.


About the Role:





We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our well-established, and respected Land-based team to deliver theoretical and practical lessons to Further Education students utilising the University College's 200-hectare estate and working farm. Working alongside a dedicated team you will help to inspire and empower students to drive forward new advancements as well as the existing provision to help develop and build new industry relationships. You will have general agricultural experience, able to deliver theoretical and practical lessons across livestock, arable and machinery, directly related to UK agriculture. This is a role within ARU Writtle primarily delivering to 16-18 year old students at the FE college.



This role includes course management and working closely with the other Further Education teams.



To succeed, you will have a level 2 GCSE English and Maths or equivalent, two A levels OR vocational qualification at NVQ level 3 or equivalent. You will have a desire to develop a diversity of learners, along with up-to-date technical and industrial knowledge to allow the sharing of best practices to both students and team members. You will be willing to work towards the completion of teaching qualifications, as this will be a requirement upon appointment.
