This role offers a unique opportunity to support learners who may not currently meet the entry criteria for traditional construction trade courses. These include students working at Level 1 who may not hold qualifications in English and Maths or who require a more supported pathway into vocational education.
This provision aims to provide a foundation for progression by developing studentsbasic construction skills alongside the social and learning abilities essential for successful employment in the construction industry. You will play a key role in designing and delivering a curriculum that helps learners build confidence, improve teamwork and communication skills, and prepare for further training or entry-level jobs in the sector. The course will be tailored to provide accessible, practical learning opportunities that meet the needs of each student.
The successful candidate will hold a recognised qualification in construction and will be someone who understands the importance of helping young people develop the skills and behaviours that will make them work-ready. While a formal teaching qualification is desirable, we welcome applications from experienced professionals who are willing to work towards one.
